About Me

Hi! I’m Kayla Lance. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest but I reside in the colorful city of Los Angeles with my beautiful family. Our life is art. My 3 little children are my most valuable art projects. I love expressing myself through my work in painting and at the present moment that’s done so mainly with acrylic and mainly on canvas. 

The thru line in my work is expression through figures, and my feminine experience.  I draw inspiration from everywhere, from vintage family photographs, old advertisements, fashion scenes, interiors, vignettes from my children’s left behind messes, my city, music, the faces we make, the moods we give power to, the list goes on.
